OpenBSD 5.2 - Installing PHP 5.3.14

As always we will installing PHP from the package system using pkg_add magic. Currently the latest PHP version for OpenBSD 5.2 is 5.3.14 which I think is ok for any web application out there. Let r0ck! /* Installing PHP #pkg_add -i php Ambiguous: choose package for php  a       0:          1: php-5.2.17p12          2: php-5.3.14p1 Your choice: 2 Everything will be install except extension that you might want to install later. The PHP binary will be install in /usr/local/bin/php-5.3 If you don't like to use php-5.3 you can simply create a symbolic link with any name that you want like just a php only without 5.3 thingy. /* Installing additional PHP extension. You can browse the pre compiled package at (Mirror example) ftp://ftp.jaist.ac.jp/pub/OpenBSD/5.2/packages/i386/ Let's say we want to install GD library #pkg_add php-gd-5.3.14p0 Create a symbolic link ln -sf /etc/php-5.3.sample/gd.ini /etc/php-5.3/gd.ini View the install extension #php-
